The story of the film is as follows

Gautam is a novelist living a lonely life in Ooty.Rangitharanga is considered to be the title of Gautam's latest novel.His wife is considered to be Indu.She is an innocent person.She assists Gautam in creating covers for all his novels.At one point, Indu, who is pregnant, has a series of nightmares.Shocked by this, she persuades Gautam to go to her ancestral home in Kamarottu.She also tells Gautam that these difficulties will be avoided after performing a certain ritual.After arriving in Kamarottu village, Gautam befriends Kalinga, the postmaster who lives there.He is also the principal of the Kalinga village school.Meanwhile, while approaching the well in his garden, Indu encounters a mysterious event.Gautam finds out that the Kamarottu house is under the influence of a demon and that there is a demon in the village named Brahma Raksha.In the meanwhile Sandhya finds Gautam and returns to the village of Kamarottu.She finds Gautam, a writer by the pseudonym Anshu.Meanwhile, Gautam, who is searching for the mysterious things that are happening in the village, is being harassed by the powerful people in the village.At one point he was attacked by a friend of a politician.There he is injured.Later that night, Gautam's wife Indu disappears.A subsequent police investigation revealed that Indu had died in a car accident six years ago.As a result, Gautam, who is in big trouble, reveals about a large scale sand smuggling operation carried out by a politician named Mahabala Hedge in the area.Gautam also learns that his wife's real name is not Indu, but a girl named Harini who used Indu's name.She had worked as a yoga instructor in Bangalore.Further investigation by the police reveals that Gautam finds out that a pregnant woman has gone missing in the village on the 7th of July every year.It is also learned that the demon who is said to be in the village while all these are pregnant women is involved in these incidents.Eventually Gautam learns that a person who obtains pregnancy reports from doctors at the post office is behind the killings.
