In the film Shuddhi (2017) Caroline works as a photojournalist coming to India from America. She is coming to Bangalore, India to complete an operation. The story of the film also shows that she is going to find and hunt down a group of people who have committed some kind of misconduct as well as those who are going against the law and she is tempted to kill them. She also investigates the incident and begins to pursue those responsible for the rape.

Meanwhile, two of her friends are helping her to get information and they are working in a newspaper that publishes the weekly newspaper and are preparing to help them by secretly traveling to different areas and collecting information about various young women who have been caught by the accused.

They are also setting up a street drama group to educate the public about the rape of women in India, traveling across the country to spread their message and to create an ideology that the Indian legal system on rape needs to be updated. Meanwhile, the Chief of Police of the Special Crimes Unit Rakesh Gowda is investigating the corruption incident and launching a special operation to find the culprits.

During his investigation, he learns that many of those involved in the crime have been mysteriously murdered. Further investigation reveals that the killings were carried out by a group of women involved in a rape case. He also finds out that a foreign woman and several local women are involved in this and due to the pressure exerted by the media, he finally speeds up his investigations and comes very close to solving the mystery.

Meanwhile, Caroline, with the advice of her friends, manages to find the last few culprits. She is also able to kill and this wave of killings is causing a great deal of controversy throughout the country she is starting to speed up her operation as the police search is intensifying and resuming. In the end, she does justice to herself by killing the last member involved in the rape.
