"Identity" (2025) is a gripping Malayalam action thriller directed by Akhil Paul and Anas Khan. Starring Tovino Thomas, Trisha, and Vinay Rai, the film revolves around Haran Shankar, a man with a complex past, who gets entangled in a high-stakes investigation involving blackmail, murder, and a deadly conspiracy.

The film follows Amar Felix, a predator who records and blackmails women, only to be mysteriously murdered. Investigating officer Allen Jacob enlists the help of Ann (Alisha), a witness with a photographic memory but a hidden impairment. As Haran’s sketch matches the suspect, suspicions arise, leading to intense confrontations. However, Haran’s true identity as an NSG commando and Sky Marshal changes the course of the narrative, culminating in a high-octane mid-air showdown with Allen.

Tovino Thomas delivers a stellar performance, portraying Haran with depth and intensity. Trisha impresses as the determined yet vulnerable Alisha, while Vinay Rai stands out as the ruthless Allen. The action sequences, especially the final confrontation aboard the private jet, are expertly choreographed. Jakes Bejoy’s music enhances the tension, and Akhil George’s cinematography adds a stylish touch.

With its unpredictable twists and fast-paced narrative, Identity keeps viewers engaged throughout its 158-minute runtime.
