Logout (2025) English Subtitle - When Life Online Turns Into a Nightmare

Logout (2025) is a sharp, unnerving Hindi-language cyber thriller streaming on ZEE5, directed by Amit Golani and starring Babil Khan in his most gripping performance yet. Far from your typical digital age drama, Logout is a smart satire on smartphone addiction, social media obsession, and the dangerous boundaries between online fame and reality.

At the heart of the film is Pratyush Dua (Babil Khan), a charismatic influencer with nearly 10 million followers. He lives in a world crafted for perfection—likes, reels, and follower counts define his identity. But his digital empire crumbles when his smartphone is stolen, and a mysterious fan takes over his online persona. What starts as a minor inconvenience soon spirals into a psychological thriller as Pratyush is dragged into a twisted game that threatens his sanity and safety.

The film cleverly critiques our reliance on technology, showing how fragile our digital selves are. Rasika Dugal, as Pratyush’s grounded sister, brings emotional weight to the narrative, while Gandharv Dewan and Nimisha Nair round out the ensemble with strong, layered performances.

Written by Biswapati Sarkar, the screenplay is tight, timely, and thought-provoking. The 93-minute runtime ensures the pacing never drags. Cinematographer Pooja S. Gupte and editor Atanu Mukherjee work in sync to deliver a visual narrative that oscillates between sleek digital aesthetics and chaotic offline unraveling. The music by Haroon-Gavin adds a haunting undercurrent that intensifies the film’s suspense.

Logout isn’t just a thriller—it’s a social commentary for the modern age. It questions identity, authenticity, and the dark cost of chasing virality. Whether you're a casual social media user or someone entrenched in the influencer world, Logout delivers a timely reminder: what happens when the filter comes off?
